Air Care Colorado tests gasoline vehicles; diesel testing is a separate program. Check your renewal notice or contact your county motor vehicle office if you are unsure whether a test is due.

Check vehicle readiness.

If a battery was disconnected or repairs were completed, the vehicle’s onboard readiness monitors may need to complete their manufacturer-specified drive procedures. Consult the owner’s manual or your technician. Make sure the gas cap and emissions equipment are present and accessible.

Confirm the practical details.

Check hours, weather closures, vehicle restrictions and the latest operator wait listing. Near closing, call to verify admission. Air Care operates first come, first served; diesel appointment arrangements vary by business.
